Three stones, one setting, and the hardest decision in the batch. A single pear-shaped gemstone on a fine adjustable band of 14k yellow gold — choose blue sapphire, pink sapphire, or tsavorite garnet.

The two sapphires are corundum, 9 on the Mohs scale, colored by trace elements: iron and titanium give the blue, chromium gives the pink. Tsavorite is something else entirely — a green grossular garnet from East Africa, rarer than emerald, and one of the very few gems that reaches the market completely untreated. Its higher refractive index means it returns more light than an emerald of the same size, so it is the liveliest of the three.

Adjustable from a size 4.5, which makes it a genuine stacking ring: wear one, or wear all three across different fingers. That is how I would do it.
